It looks like censorship within these walls will never end, but neither will my resolve to combat it. Censorship is their weapon, and mine is my art.

Juan Hernandez is an incarcerated artist born and raised in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. His art has been exhibited at Angelica Kauffman Gallery, Prism Spaces, and The Design Museum of Chicago, amongst others.
