José Felan was born and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas. He is of Mexican descent and grew up speaking Spanish. When he was 17, he moved to the state of Minnesota. After he completed his A.A.'s degree, Felan went to Belgium to learn French. He did a lot of traveling then returned to the U.S. In time, he married and settled down in Rochester, Minnesota. He spent many years living in Minnesota and three years in Belgium. He also lived a bit in Texas and Mexico. Felan’s expertise is the Culinary Arts. He loves making and cooking food. He loves seeing people happy when they eat.
