Angela Oliver
Grounded by Mississippi and South Georgia roots, Angela N. Oliver is a proud native of #OldAtlanta. Her knack for storytelling, desire to celebrate arts and cultures, and duty to expose injustice earned her a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Black Studies at Western Kentucky University. She was the first black full-time reporter at the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer in 2011, a college instructor and Black Student Union adviser, and now serves as Project South's communications coordinator.
