Does the sky god dance in
death and resurrection daily?

Tonight she emits her
auto-eulogy
in spectacular tones.

Her amber fires smolder their way
into blues that look,
feel like hue-siblings.

They gather and dance with one another
to celebrate another life well-
led.

The sky god's parting words
an homage to immanence
among her day-lives.

Child, she reminds us all,
you are on the very edge of the universe,
you always have been.

Sleep on my hearth
and wake soon,
resurrected.
